WODCON XXI
The World Dredging Congress and Exposition (WODCON) is held once every three (3) years by WODA, the World Organization of Dredging Associations. First formed in 1967 in New York and held throughout the world since then, these conferences cycle between the three sister dredging associations WEDA, CEDA & EADA. In 2010, EADA hosted WODCON XIX in Beijing. In 2013, CEDA hosted WODCON XX in Brussels, and in 2016, WEDA will host WODCON XXI in Miami. WEDA will combine it's annual Dredging Summit & Expo '16 conference with this World Dredging Congress to form WODCON XXI at the Hyatt Regency Miami from June 13-17, 2016. The World Dredging Congress has become the most important and anticipated event for dredging professionals worldwide. WODCON is the only global event dedicated exclusively to dredging and maritime construction, and provides a unique platform for researchers and practitioners from industry, academia and governments to meet and discuss dredging.
WODCON XXI will feature an outstanding technical program with 120 papers and numerous focused panels for dredging related developments and projects from around the world. In addition, there will be plenty of opportunities to connect with others in the industry at the various social events and functions occurring throughout the week.
