Subsea Technologies and HYPACK Sub-Bottom Profiling and Side Scan Sonar Training Course

Subsea Technologies and HYPACK hosted a Sub-Bottom Profiling and Side Scan Sonar training in Houston, Texas, and on Lake Conroe from March 20-22, 2018. 

Course topics included an introduction to HYPACK, side scan sonar theory, processing side scan sonar data (HYSCAN & GEOCODER), sub-bottom profiling theory, and sub-bottom data processing.

Practical training was conducted on Lake Conroe with Peter Ramsay from HYPACK, and Andrew Garcia from Subsea Technologies using an Applied Acoustics boomer system. Some of the images from the event can be seen below:
